Back in Berlin for a little bit, I am still getting adjusted to the cold and  grey days, Berlin has moody skies and generally it gets dark now really early. I wear a lot of black but it seems almost too sombre these days and a little sad, I’m actually a bit tired of my wardrobe these days. What to wear for dinner when it’s dark by 6pm ?

One of my style missions is to wear more color.  Coats are great for this ! Metallics might be another great idea. I’ve always been attracted to things that glitter, and in Fall/Winter season they work even better and I’m not even thinking about Christmas yet.

Isabel Marant came out with a variety of metallic pants from gold to silver to blue metallic this season,  and I will definitely give it a try, here the pants are worn by Jalouse Fashion Editor Helena Tejedor. A bit disco but I love it.

I also love how Sarah Rutson added a bit of metallic to an otherwise very simple look. She also proves how great a bit of shimmer works in daylight.
