I hadn’t published my Céline gallery yet this year, and an observant reader caught me on it (thanks Tina !). Photographing the looks outside Céline is one of my highlights from fashion week – the thing is it used to be my number one highlight, and now focus has shifted a bit with LOEWE and Balenciaga on the horizon. This year the Balenciaga show was right before the Celine show and because of it’s immediate popularity from the first season it affected the way show-goers dressed, simply less people dressed in Céline than in previous seasons.

I know this is not the best introduction to this gallery, but it has been an interesting observation for myself, to see how brands have their high moment and how that shifts. Don’t get me wrong though, Celine doesn’t cease to be one of the few tops and I will endlessly crave their Pret-a-Porter pieces and especially the bags and shoes. But while brands like Loewe and Vetements have that super-new and still surprise-effect moment, Céline has become the amazing classic in my eyes.

So with this bumpy introduction, here come the photos taken outside the Céline SS 2017 show (to be a little more confusing, not 100 percent Céline, Lucinda Chambers is wearing a Marni coat, which I think fits in perfectly).
